“Business Opportunity – Home Based Business” – What to Do!

This is the first step prior to any decision regarding working at home.

Is the stuffing envelope at home what you wanted to do? Maybe coding bills or doing medical dictation. We have all heard of secret shoppers, I could go on and on. Consider a network or multilevel marketing company. This would provide residual income which is the main attraction factor of a network or multilevel marketing company along with flexibility.

A business opportunity home based business offers an opportunity unlike any other. First and foremost it is affordable. The average network marketing or multilevel marketing company is typically under $500 start up cost to begin. Second, it is allows you to work around your primary job or primary source of income. Third, typically there is no qualification, interview, or review of a resume. Fourth, it is basically easy just requiring activity.

A business opportunity home based business allows freedom from the corporate world. Many individuals are able to leave their 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM job and secure financial and time freedom.

The most frightening statistic often omitted from the “first” meeting or exposure to the company is there is a 97% failure rate in network marketing. The crucial piece that sponsors do not share is that it is a business and there are no guarantees.

Stop the 97% failure rate, invest in yourself and education.  You would not purchase a franchise or open a store without knowledge of the business. Why would you not educate yourself in network marketing?

Don’t be fooled by companies claiming you will make $90,000 in the first three months.  It will not happen.  But, with knowledge and education in network marketing you can have success.

Downsized, Laid Off, Job Eliminated, Job Outsourced – Now What?

Now you find yourself without work, without your livelihood, surviving on unemployment, what do you do? It is probably one of the most difficult journeys in life one will have to endure. Older worker, now it is even worse. With the competitive job market and limited jobs available what do you do? Where do you turn? How do you come up with money to support your family?

With our economic times many individuals are finding themselves displaced. There is no way you can go without watching the news and hearing the rising unemployment rate and the newest company to close their doors or sell out to the highest bidder.

What used to the reality of the generations before us is now only a fast fading dream. It is no longer assumed one will retire with a company after thirty or thirty-five years of service. There is now no guarantee of employment and benefits.

It is no longer assumed one will have a pension to cover retirement. With the reality of the United States Government’s spending one cannot be confident that social security will exist for the generations to come.

So where do we turn? What can be done to assure our family will be taken care off? It is a challenge each of us along with employers and the government is trying to tackle.

What is the best occupation in the world? The best occupation in the world is an entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur allows one to take control over their future, their destiny, and their dreams. Of course it does not mean one has to develop some widget or make some amazing discovery!

Believe it or not there are companies that provide opportunities for individuals to become an entrepreneur and own their own business for a low cost fee. One would become a distributor or consultant for the company. Many companies will have a pay system in addition to the difference between the wholesale and retail sales price. The pay systems will often involve a residual income. What is a residual income? It is the payment method where one will continue to get paid long after the original activity was performed.

I do need to caution you however; many companies pay out system is less than desirable. It is difficult for most individuals to make good money. The basic multi level marketing company will only pay down to four or six levels. A binomial marketing system beats the odds. A binomial marketing system pays to infinity. The average individual statistically can sponsor or find 2.8 people to partner with. With a binomial marketing system it only requires two individuals. The team is built vertically allowing the entire line to reap the benefits.

Before you decide to become an entrepreneur and control your own destiny do your homework. All network marketing companies are not created equal.

Goals………Are You Setting Your Goals Properly or Are You Setting Yourself Up for Failure?

Goals………Are You Setting Your Goals Properly or Are You Setting Yourself Up for Failure?

Did you know that where you are today is a reflection of your daily habits? Every move you make either moves you closer to your life’s ultimate design or it moves you away from your life’s ultimate design.

This is where setting goals comes into play.

It’s funny because for a number of years, I thought I was creating awesome goals but after going through Life Coach training, I realized that all I was creating was a “to do” list. And the more I “accomplished”, the more I thought I was progressing in the direction of my goals. I couldn’t have been more wrong!

In this post I want to provide you with the basics of setting clearly defined goals that move you toward the life you have designed for yourself.

Your Goals Should Be SMART
Specific – determine exactly what you want
Measurable – they move you forward
Attainable – achievable but make you stretch
Realistic – don’t set yourself up for failure
Timely – date specific

You Should Set
Short-term goals(daily and weekly)
Mid-term goals(monthly and quarterly)
Long-term goals(1, 2, 5 years)

How to Set Goals
Ultimately, you want to set a total of 3 big goals each week. And each of these goals will have at least 3 actions steps. When you do this consistently week after week, you will move yourself forward in ways you can’t imagine.
Goal: What is the ultimate outcome

Obstacle: What is stopping you

Date: Set the date you want to achieve this goal

Action Step 1: What 1st step can you take to overcome the obstacle and achieve your goal.
Action Step 2: What 2nd step can you take to overcome the obstacle and achieve your goal.
Action Step 3: What 3rd step can you take to overcome the obstacle and achieve your goal.

When you evaluate your goals each week, you should ask yourself the following questions:
1) Is there anything I’d like to improve or do better?
2) Is there anything I learned that can help me reach any of my goals?
3) What went well this past week?
4) What made me happiest?
5) Did anything during the week make me unhappy or didn’t go as well for me as I had hoped?

Some final tips on goal setting:

  • Be clear on goals
  • Organize into an action plan.
  • Take action.
  • Resolve to do something every day to move your business forward.
  • Plan every day.
  • Apply 80/20 rule to everything.

And remember that at the heart of all this is a dream – the WHY that will keep you going. Are you willing to pay the price for success? Nothing great comes for free. Desire, discipline and drive has to come from within.

You need to determine what you want, decide what you are willing to sacrifice/reschedule, associate with people that will help you get what you want , have a plan of action and WORK the plan.

Remember that small goals achieved repeatedly add up to big dreams fulfilled. Take the time to clearly define where you are going in your journey. Where will YOU be this time next year?

The New Competition of iTunes?

The New Competition of iTunes?

Alejandro SanzLast Saturday

performed at the conference closing and the whole world was able to watch it through their

several celebrities who support the concept of the company. The ambition of that entity is to compete with

iTunes as a way of selling music on the Internet.

It was around 11:00 a.m. when

talk about his experience as an entrepreneur. The purpose was to share the general principles of his book

“The Rhythm of Success” by providing some tips for the attendees.

25,000 people gathered at this great event, including some celebrities. Among the attendees jewelry

designer – and partner of

her husband

because they are interested in selling their music and keeping their careers moving up.

I think it’s not easy to compete against a corporation such as iTunes, but

the best e-commerce companies in the world, thus showing great potential. Market America currently has

more than 6 million clients and does business in The U.S USA, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia.

Emilio Estefan added about Market America, “They are well connected and reach everyone around the

world; I believe it’s the right time to act.” Music sales will be made through MyWorld Music, where you will

also be able to purchase books, movies and other items. Live streaming shows will be presented by My World

Live.

As a token of the company’s capabilities, a free live streaming concert was broadcasted over the Internet.

Alejandro Sanz and Emilio Estefan shared the stage. ma World Conference brought togetherEmilio Estefan, one of the first guests of the day, came up to the stage toDavid Bisbal Elena Tablada, Eva Longoria, Gloria Estefan, Paulina Rubio, andNicolás Vallejo Najera. It’s important for singers to show their support to Market AmericaMarket America is ranked amongst

 Alejandro Sanz

computers. The Spanish singer played five songs that included hits such as “Looking for Paradise” and

“Corazón Partido.”

It’s good to see the continuing emergence of options available to benefit the music after the impact suffered

by the industry. Even though there are several sites that sell albums and songs through the Internet, none of

them has been as well received as iTunes. Do you think Market America can replace iTunes?

Alejandro Sanz  (taken from the article posted on Market America, I was there!  Were you?  It was an awesome night!)

Married to Your Job? Are you working toward a golden anniversary?

Are you married to your job?  Do you go to bed at night wondering if and for how long you will have a job?  Are you giving all you have at your job to make someone else rich?

You are not alone.   Many of us spend our entire lives to make the top 5% wealthy.  Stuck on the treadmill, over and over, without any possibility to get off!  What else can you do?  Where can you turn?  What are your options?  What happens if your job suddenly is “no more”?

Most of us are on the 45 year plan.  We spend 45 years working to prepare for retirement. Once our 45 year plan stops with no more income coming in what happens?  Unless you work for the government the future changes radically.  The hard reality of where the ongoing income will come from, how will you pay for health insurance, and status of your 401K or retirement account is likely to hit you like a brick wall.  What will you do?  Keep working?  Next time you go to the grocery store, mall, hardware store, doctor’s office, or hospital look around.  Who do you see working?  Many, many, many of the workers are in their 60’s and 70’s, some even in their 80’s.  The worker’s you seen are healthy enough to work.  What about the individuals not healthy enough to work.   After working 45 years to barely get by is not an option!

The 45 year plan sounded good at the age of 22, but what about at the age of 40, 50, or 60?  It does not sound so good now.

Have you explored your options?  Have you determined what your back up plan is or will be when the 45 year plan crashes and burns?  What will you do?  Where will you turn?

What have you considered for plan B?  Don’t get lost in the 45 year plan.  Now is the time.
